What we collect

Cost Ripple does not require an account and does not transmit the expense names or amounts you enter. All calculations run locally in your browser.

Local storage

We store a single preference — your light or dark theme choice — in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes it.

Shared links

If you create a share link, the calculator settings you chose are encoded in the URL. Anyone with that link can see those settings, so only share it when you are comfortable doing so.

Analytics

Cost Ripple is prepared for privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics such as page views and anonymous feature usage. Analytics events never include your expense name or amounts. No advertising or tracking scripts are installed.

Cookies

Cost Ripple does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page.
